Client highlights

Future Crop

Future Crop BrochureKen StreetThe Future Crop campaign, developed for the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), successfully updated growers and industry stakeholders on national and international biotechnology developments shaping the industry, while improving public awareness of key consumer issues. The campaign reiterated the GRDC’s commitment to providing germplasm for crop improvement and economic gains while protecting food security – a major understated threat from global warming. It produced more than 100 media mentions including significant coverage in major metropolitan and rural media throughout Australia. The campaign saw the GRDC emerge as a proactive participant in the genetic modification (GM) debate, contributed to a greater level of decisiveness within the industry, and informed GRDC’s ongoing R&D program to ensure relevance to investors.

The Future Crop campaign won Coretext a PRIA Golden Target Award.

MLA evaluation brochure series

MLA Food Safety brochureCoretext drew on its editorial and design expertise to develop a brochure series concept for Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) that would articulate the relevance of MLA program evaluation to key stakeholder aspirations, tracing individual program inputs to outputs, outcomes, impacts and benefits.

Endorsed by the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), the brochure template was complimented for its effectiveness in maximising stakeholder understanding and information retention, and it set a precedent for research and development corporation (RDC) communication of evaluation performance to government and peak industry stakeholders.

The evaluation brochures required a professional, convincing and engaging language; fact-based content written in a clear and concise manner; and a comprehensive understanding of MLA’s brand and style guidelines, as reflected in brochure design and layout.

The individual brochures reported on MLA’s performance against its key objectives to improve market access, build demand for Australian red meat, provide competitive advantages from paddock to plate, and partner with industry to build capability.
